My journey to the city yesterday was by bus. Nothing interesting along the way except that Wendy's got a nice view of the Brisbane River with just minutes walk from her apartment. With the bright sun and cooling breeze, I can just sit by the river and fall asleep!
My aim to the city was not just to explore the place, but also to enquire about my bank account which was supposed to be up and running on Wednesday. Guess what?! My account was not opened yet because I left the occupation field blank despite already noting that I'm a student. The best part is that nobody bothered to call me or email! Fine. So since I was there, I asked them to open an account there and then so I could put my money in. But no. This is not how they work. I'm supposed to make an appointment as my so called financial planner is all packed till closing. So there I was again at 9.30am this morning. =)
Oh well, I then spent the rest of the day shopping around. Bought daddy's & mummy's birthday presents. Can't wait to see them 2 weeks later. Spoke to Jie Jie and apparently, Xiao Jie went to my room the other day and asked for me. That little rascal actually misses me =( I miss my baby...
Wendy picked me up after work and we headed to Indooroopilly Shopping Centre again to get my phone line. Thanks gal for all the trouble! Conclusion: the place I'm going to live in, is damn convenient lor! Shopping is such a bliss in future! Tuesdays for movies and Thursdays for shopping! *eyes glowing, grinning from ear to ear*
Took a bus to city this morning. Did all I had to and hopped onto the ferry back to Wendy's apartment. It was a great experience and to top the ice berg, the amount to travel by bus and ferry is the same! Took some great pictures along the way. All photos will be found in Facebook!
