This day marks the first time my car skidded after 7 years of driving. Had a shock, not so much due to the skid, but because my cousin was in the car with me. All my years of driving escapade, I always make it a point that no passengers are to be hurt in a way or another when travelling with me. Thank God that it wasn't anything serious, no injuries and nothing happened to my dear Blush. And most importantly, no other cars were around. We were just going up the car park.
Had lunch with Bev and Rach today and thought I'll just pop by and say hello to my friends at SHRI. Never expect to see someone that I met 2 years ago, Augustus. That kiddo just completed his NS and waiting for his placement in UQ as well. Time really flies, just 2 years ago, we were there at the very same place, preparing for the World HR Congress. Miss my time with the lovely team. Now we're both waiting to get back to school. To confirm what someone told me about Aussies taking a darn long time at work, Augustus actually applied for his course 3 months back. Till date, he has yet to hear from them. Poor boy. Hopefully I'll get my placement soon.
On a lighter footing, my idiotic cousin called into the radio station again. I know she's managed to call through many times, irregardless of what station it is. But today, she did it in front of me and it went through merely on the second attempt. Some people are just lucky. And I know if she's reading this right now, she must be cursing about how I hit her in the car when she called through =P
JY, I finally made the decision to see Yvonne and I'll be meeting her tomorrow. P.S. it's not Yoyo...
