Er Ge was supposed to go for CT scan tomorrow, however the hospital called to say that it's postponed for a week. I shall not name the hospital here to save them some pride. Anyway apparently my maternal grandma is due for CT scan too on Friday at the same hospital. However, they too called and said it's postponed for a week as well. Apparently they only do CT scans on Tuesdays and Fridays. The reason given for both cases is that they are overbooked for CT scan.
This brings me to wonder what system is the hospital under. Shouldn't they keep a strict record of all their appointments? Is it right for them to change appointments at the eleventh hour? If their appointments for CT scans was overwhelming, then why give patients a date in the first place? Another thought came to my mind. Does the hospital give priority to patients in Class A wards? I wonder...
