Start of the Rat

Today's day 5 of CNY. The past 4 days were crazy. As usual, there was no day and night for me. The usual visit to Dad's office first thing on day 1, and day 2 was home as usual. One thing I learnt this year is to get at least a dozen Coke when we are having open house. Saves me the hassle of going out to get them. And another thing to note, if you want to get rid of all the liquor in the house, it's best that you get servers. Also if you hired servers, forget about Breezers, stock up on mixers, that's more important.

Visited Uncle Beh's house at Sentosa Cove on day 1 night. Nicely done up all thanks to Auntie Jessica. Especially like the Island Kitchen and the cosy outdoor pool area. The house's backyard overlooks the sea. The fences in the houses there cannot be higher than a meter. Wonder how the security is kept, especially from illegal immigrants.

Was at Wendy's place on day 3, hoping to savour Auntie's cooking. Unfortunately, they catered the food instead. So I will have to be patient and wait till I meet Auntie in Brisbane =P Anyway, Wendy's place wasn't the only place I visited. Woke up only at 4.30pm and I had to rush to Jie's place already. Hopped by Uncle Peter's place before Wendy's. Yum.... Loved the Briyani at Uncle Peter's!

Yesterday was my first Lo Hei for this year. Had two actually.. First at Da Yi's house in the noon then at a Thai Restaurant in Vivo with 3 of my buddies. Don't know why, this year, I seem to enjoy Yu Sheng a lot....
