It's been a week since I left my previous company. Honestly the feeling of leaving a job without another job in hand is no fun. I woke up last Friday morning feeling lost. For the first time in my working life, I realise that I'm gonna live on my savings in months to come. Uncertainties filled my mind. What am I going to do? I know I want to further my studies but classes wouldn't start till July. So in the next 6 months or so, it's going to be nothing but uncertainties. Oh well, I decided to take a step as it is and keep myself occupied now by preparing for the CNY.
It was Dad's company event last evening. It was nice catching up with the Uncles, Aunties and some friends. It was only last night that I realise we've all grown up. Reminiscing the good old days when we were still little ones. Our innocence, the laughter, the fun, and things that should have happened but never did. I just wanna be a Toys 'R Us kid and never grow up. Haha...
So there I was catching up with everyone. Or rather, filling in my current life and situation now. The same old, what are you doing now? Still studying or working? Where's your boyfriend? So I had to repeat the same old story about me just leaving the job and I've decided to further my studies. And of course not forgetting, nope, I do not have a boyfriend now. And as usual, I get the same old reply, you sure or not? I don't believe you don't have a boyfriend. Enough said.
