Dear Diary...

Been watching a TVB drama lately and as I was watching episode 37 of "Tong Sum Fong Bo", emotions caught me. Alfred (Raymond Lam) died in the show. Not that his death meant anything, it's a show ultimately. It's his actions. Alfred was very much in love with his girlfriend, however he did something very unforgivable. His girlfriend left him and he started writing a diary, accounting his daily events, dedicated to her. His dream was to read it together with her the moment she had forgiven him. However he didn't manage to wait till the day to come.

This led me to think about a story that I came across sometime back. It goes like this:
"A couple was very much in love. However due to some circumstances, the silly gal had decided to leave the love of her life completely. It wasn't easy for her but she thought it was the right thing for her to do. The silly boy was devastated then. He didn't want her to be out of his life and went through all difficulties and did all he could to win her back. However she didn't give in. Months later she finally gave in and found out that the silly boy had been writing journals each day during the time that the silly gal left him. Knowing that this is not him to do such stuff, the silly gal was curious to know what he wrote. She requested to read them but the silly boy didn't want to show them to her. Unexpectedly, the couple had to part again. The diary of the silly boy became a mystery to the silly gal."

Both stories are so similar. If I were the leading lady in such stories, I would very much want to know what is written in those diaries. Come to think of it, it is so not a guy thing to do by jotting down his daily events. If I know someone is doing such a thing for me, I'll be deeply touched.
